According to the US Bureau of Labor and Statistics, employment in installation, maintenance, and repair occupations is projected to grow 3 percent from 2019 to 2029, about as fast as the average for all occupations, and will result in about 173,300 new jobs.
The median annual wage for installation maintenance, and repair occupations was $46,630 in May 2019, which was higher than the median annual wage for all occupations of $39,810.
